Behind the Counter at Angel 24: The Quiet Charm of Sora in Blue Archive

In the vast, chaotic, and heavily militarized world of Kivotos—where academies wage turf wars and students tote around anti-materiel rifles like casual accessories—it is easy to get swept up in the high-stakes tactical drama of Blue Archive. Yet, some of the most endearing moments in the game happen far away from the front lines.

Enter Sora, the soft-spoken, diligent junior high school student who manages the Angel 24 convenience store located right on the first floor of the Schale building. Though she is a non-playable character (NPC), Sora has carved out a special place in the hearts of Senseis worldwide.

Who Is Sora?

Sora is introduced as a middle schooler working part-time at Angel 24, the go-to convenience store where players exchange Pyroxenes and other currencies for vital game items, materials, and gifts. Chronologically, she started working at the shop around the same time Sensei was assigned to Schale.

Visually, Sora sports long, straight blonde hair with bangs parted in the middle and tied back with ribbons, light blue eyes, and a classic convenience store uniform consisting of a polo-style blouse, a striped bowtie, a blue apron, black shorts, and sneakers. Notably, her name “Sora” translates to “Sky”.

Unlike most residents of Kivotos who belong to the major high-school academies (like Trinity, Gehenna, or Millennium), Sora’s exact academic future remains open. Because she is of junior high age, she hasn’t yet decided which high school she wants to attend, adding a touch of ordinary adolescent realism to an otherwise extraordinary world.

Personality and Daily Life

Sora’s personality defines her charm. She is naturally introverted, timid, and easily flustered—especially when interacting with Sensei. Despite her shyness, she approaches her job with earnest dedication, trying her absolute best to provide polite customer service.

Because Angel 24 is situated inside Schale—a building rarely frequented by ordinary students—Sora spends a significant chunk of her downtime looking a bit bored, often passing the time on her cell phone. This relatable quirk has made her a favorite subject of community memes and fan art.

Over time, lore and mini-stories have fleshed out her interactions with other Kivotos residents. For instance, members of the RABBIT Platoon (from SRT Academy) are known to frequent the store to ask for leftover or near-expiration boxed lunches, leading to wholesome, quiet interactions that highlight Sora’s kind-hearted nature.

More Than Just a Shop Interface

In many gacha games, the in-game shop is treated as a sterile menu interface. Blue Archive breathes life into its shop by placing Sora behind the counter. Every time a Sensei opens the shop tab, Sora greets them with nervous enthusiasm, bridging the gap between utilitarian menu management and narrative immersion.
